Zheflon ® PVDF for Injection Molding Grade Product Features
Chemical resistance
PVDF has excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis and organic solvents. This makes PVDF suitable for injection moulding applications that require contact with a wide range of chemicals.
Heat resistance
PVDF has good heat resistance and is able to maintain stability in high temperature environments. It can withstand high melting and processing conditions, making it ideal for injection moulded products that require operation in high temperature environments.
Electrical insulating properties
PVDF has good electrical insulating properties, effectively preventing the conduction of electrical currents in injection moulded products and avoiding electrical faults and short circuits. This is important for injection moulding applications where protection of electronic components or electrical equipment is required.
Low coefficient of friction
PVDF has a low coefficient of friction and a smooth surface, which gives it good sliding properties and wear resistance in injection moulded products. This is very beneficial for injection moulding applications where low friction and wear resistance is required.
High mechanical strength
PVDF has high mechanical strength and rigidity, giving it excellent strength and durability in injection moulded products. It is resistant to external shocks and deformations and maintains the structural stability of the product.
Weather resistance
PVDF has good weather resistance and is resistant to UV light, oxidation and other environmental factors. This allows PVDF injection moulded products to be used outdoors or in harsh environmental conditions for long periods of time without damage.
Biocompatibility
PVDF is biocompatible and meets the requirements of relevant standards in the medical and food industries. Therefore, PVDF can be used in injection moulded products that require contact with human tissue or food.
Zheflon ® PVDF for Injection Molding Grade Applications
Application for Chemical equipment

PVDF injection moulded products can be used to manufacture components for chemical equipment such as pipes, valves, pump bodies etc. PVDF is widely used in the chemical industry due to its excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and its ability to withstand various corrosive media and high temperature conditions.

Application to Electronic and electrical equipment

PVDF injection moulded products have important applications in the electronic and electrical field, such as electronic connectors, insulating parts, insulation layers, battery boxes, etc. PVDF has good electrical insulation properties and high temperature resistance, and can meet the requirements of electronic equipment.

Application in Automotive components

PVDF injection moulded products are used in the manufacture of automotive components such as cooling system components, sensor parts, fuel system parts, etc. PVDF has chemical resistance, heat resistance and wear resistance to meet the high requirements of the automotive industry for components.

Application in Other applications

PVDF injection moulded products can also be used in the manufacture of products for water treatment equipment, optical instruments, semiconductor manufacturing and other fields.

Zheflon ® PVDF for Injection Molding Grade FAQ
What are the common applications of injection grade PVDF?
Injection grade PVDF is used in various industries for applications such as semiconductor components, electrical connectors, automotive fuel system parts, medical devices, aerospace components and so on.
What is the injection molding process for PVDF?
Injection molding involves melting the injection grade PVDF and injecting it into a mold cavity at high pressure. The material cools and solidifies inside the mold, taking its shape. Once set, the product is ejected from the mold.
Can injection grade PVDF withstand high temperatures?
Yes, injection grade PVDF can withstand high temperatures up to around 150-160°C (302-320°F) continuously and even higher temperatures for short periods without significant loss of properties.
Is injection grade PVDF chemically resistant?
Yes, injection grade PVDF is highly chemically resistant. It can withstand exposure to a wide range of aggressive chemicals, making it suitable for applications in corrosive environments.
