Zheflon ® FKM Product Features
High temperature resistance
FKM has excellent resistance to high temperatures and retains its elasticity and physical properties in high temperature environments. It can withstand extreme temperature conditions and can typically work in a temperature range of -40°C to +250°C.
Chemical resistance
FKM exhibits excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents and fuels. This gives FKM excellent stability and durability in a variety of chemical environments.
Oil resistance |
FKM has excellent oil resistance and is able to maintain its physical and mechanical properties in oily media such as lubricants, fuels and liquid chemicals. This allows FKM to be used in a wide range of applications such as hydraulic systems, automotive engines and petrochemicals.
Excellent sealing properties
FKM has excellent sealing properties and provides a reliable seal against leakage of liquids, gases and vapours. It is widely used in sealing applications such as seals, O-rings and gaskets.
Low compression deformation | FKM has a low compression deformation rate and is able to maintain its original shape and size under stress, thus providing reliable sealing performance.
Ageing resistance | FKM has excellent ageing resistance and can be used consistently over a long period of time without being affected by light, heat, oxygen and ozone.
Good electrical insulation | FKM has good electrical insulation properties, preventing the passage of electrical currents and avoiding the risk of dielectric rupture and electric shock.
Good mechanical properties | FKM has good tensile strength, tear strength and abrasion resistance, with high physical strength and durability. |
