IATF 16949:2024 is a quality management system standard, also known as "International Automotive Task Force 16949:2024" or simply IATF 16949.
It is an automotive industry-specific quality management system standard and serves as a special appendix to ISO 9001. IATF 16949:2024 was developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and was published in 2024.
The standard aims to provide a unified quality management system framework for automotive manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that their products and services meet the requirements and expectations of the automotive industry.
